Biography
Marcia Murry completed her PhD at UC Berkeley in the labs of John R. Benemann and Willaim Oawald in the Algae lab and continued with post-doctura studies with John Torrey at Harvard University and C.P.Wolk at at Michigan State University (MSU) in the physiology and genetics of nitrogen-fixstion. She developed a program in Biology for underrepresented minority students at MSU and later moveed to Cal Poly Ponona Ca to direct a tutoring program and reinsume her work in algae based bioremediation and product development of microalgae. She is currently an emeritis professor continuing on USDA funded research.
